Plasterboard finishing

Joints, corners and screw holes in level A, B or C
Our core activity. For plasterboard, Dutch construction distinguishes three finishing levels; we work to that classification. The required level is agreed in advance, so at handover it can be objectively verified.
Traditional plastering
Smooth plaster and decorative renders
Traditional plastering for walls and ceilings, in both new build and renovation. Smooth plaster, decorative renders and repair work, carried out by experienced plasterers and fully scheduled by us.
Painting
Final finish in the colour of your choice
The closing stage of the finishing works. Walls, ceilings, frames and woodwork. Because we supply the substrate ourselves, we know exactly what the paintwork still needs, and it connects seamlessly.

Plasterboard finishing
Finishing level A, B or C
"Neatly finished" is not a measurable requirement. That is why we agree the finishing level in advance, so at handover you can objectively verify that the result matches the order.
Applies to plasterboard
This classification belongs to the finishing of plasterboard: closing joints, corners and screw holes. Traditional plastering, painting and stud work do not use these levels, for those we agree the required quality separately, per project.

The boards are fitted and the joints are closed. This level is intended for fire resistance and a closed structure, not as visible work.

The standard in residential and commercial construction. The wall is smooth and ready for paint or wallpaper. Under sharp raking light the joint may remain slightly perceptible.

Mirror smooth
Skimmed over the full surface and machine sanded. Even under raking light or with gloss paint the surface stays free of visible joints or screw holes. Requires more time and material.

On completionJoint inspection against the order, and for plasterboard finishing against the recorded level. Any remaining items are resolved within five working days.

Frequently asked questions
These levels belong to plasterboard finishing; they do not exist for traditional plastering or painting. Level C means the boards are closed for fire resistance; this is not visible work. Level B is the standard in residential and commercial construction: smooth and ready for paint, though the joint may remain slightly perceptible under sharp raking light. Level A is skimmed over the full surface and stays flat even under raking light or gloss paint. For most projects level B is sufficient.
We focus on contractors, property developers and construction companies. Private commissions are accepted by arrangement, usually for larger renovations or complete floors.
Yes, both are part of our package. You arrange it through us, with one schedule and one point of contact. Because we supply the substrate ourselves, the paintwork connects to it seamlessly.

We do not issue prices through a web form. After your request we will contact you and, if desired, schedule a survey. You then receive a fixed price, specified per item. Additional work is always confirmed in writing beforehand.
That depends on the surface area, the type of work and the phasing on site. For plasterboard finishing the level weighs heavily: level A takes considerably more time than level B because of the extra skimming and sanding pass. The quotation includes a concrete indication in working days.

Yes. We are VCA certified according to the system for safety, health and environment on construction sites. The certificate is sent in advance on request, for instance for your site induction or project file.
Sanding inevitably produces dust. We mask off, work with as little dust as possible, remove our materials and leave the floor broom clean so the next discipline can continue immediately.
